Dog Day Care

Reserved Barking in Alexandria VA

Doggie daycare offers many health benefits for dogs. The alternative to the home environment and availability of new playmates offer mental stimulation and socialization to counteract loneliness and boredom. Reserved Barking’s pack leaders can help meet your dog’s desire for attention and human interaction. The expansive open-play areas help your dog expel energy and get the exercise needed to stay fit or lose weight.

Your dog will be placed into the play pack environment best suited for its size and temperament. Throughout the day your dog will frolic in open play, supervised, off-leash, indoor and outdoor playgrounds. From 1-3pm your dog will enjoy a well-deserved nap and prepare for the next round of fun.

Before accepting your dog for daycare or boarding, Reserved Barking will confirm your dog’s suitability through a free on-site evaluation. We do not restrict dogs based on breed, but on their temperament and behavior. All dogs must be at least 3 months old, current on shots (Rabies, Distemper & Bordatella), and friendly toward people and other dogs. This process ensures the safety of your dog, the other pack members, and our staff.

“Since we adopted Holly in December, I have been to four area doggie daycares. Reserved Barking is BY FAR the best one! The facility is clean (doesn’t even smell like dog!), the staff is friendly and professional, and, best of all, Holly LOVES going! My very active pooch comes home exhausted and happy. Thanks, Reserved Barking, we needed you!”
